Crazy Balls is a match-three game for Nokia Series 40 where you need to make lines of three or more same-colored balls.
Not as crazy as it sounds
Despite its larger-than-life sounding name, Crazy Balls is actually pretty bland as match-three games go. They should have called it Normal Balls or Average Balls, because there's nothing zany or unusual about the gameplay in this one.
The idea, as is the norm in this overly popular game genre, is to make lines and rows of three or more balls of the same color. Make enough lines and you'll fill up the points bar at the bottom of the screen, which will unlock the next level. There are 100 levels in Crazy Balls in both Easy and Hard modes.
How to play Crazy Balls
It's very simple to pick up and play Crazy Balls. There's no in-game tutorial but it's pretty simple to figure out, especially if you've played match-three games on S40 before (e.g. Bejeweled, Candy Cup Saga, Candy Pop Saga, etc.). All you need to do is tap on a ball to highlight it then tap where you want to move it to (it must be an adjacent square).
The presentation of Crazy Balls is underwhelming. The design of the game board is neat enough and it's nice and colorful, but the animations are weak and there's nothing imaginative about the visuals.
Crazy Balls is like a Nokia version of Candy Crush - with all the sugar removed. It'll pass the time, but don't expect anything innovative.
